New Year, New Me

Well, not quite. 2018 was one of the most trying, invigorating, and absolutely wonderful years of my life. But I'm so excited for all of the things in store. I've got some really amazing ideas for content, I'm in the beginning stages of planning some amazing trips and have even got a couple of New Years' Resolutions.

1. Read a book each month

So fun fact, I absolutely love to read. But between college, this blog, and everything else going on in my life I don't do it nearly enough. Honestly, I can probably count on one hand the number of books I read for leisure in 2018 and that's honestly pathetic. Not only am I participating in Reese Witherspoon's book club this year, but I've started one of my own with a friend of mine.  First on my list, The First Mrs. Parrish! I've linked it if you're looking for a new read! I haven't started it yet, but I've heard great things.

2. Make Time to Meditate More

I've written a couple posts about my struggles with anxiety, In 2018 I found that one of the best ways to cope with mine is mediating. So for 2019, I'd love to find more time for this healthy habit. There's a fun little app on the Apple Watch I got for Christmas that helps you set out a minute to meditate. I'll be using that this year/

3. Find More Time to be Active

I know, I know how cliche? Everyone says they want to work out more and now I suppose I'm one of those people. I got a ClassPlass membership for Christmas, so hopefully, that'll be enough to keep me off the couch and in the gym. 

4. Be an Active Blogger

And lastly, I want to spend more time here at Almost It Girl. It's truly my baby, and one of my absolute favorite hobbies. I've been having so much fun coming up with fun ideas for content, and photos for Instagram. I can't wait for y'all to see what I have in store.
